Eddyline
A calm RSS reader for the sites you love.
Eddyline follows the sites you love, from blogs and news sites to YouTube channels, Mastodon and Bluesky profiles and GitHub projects, and lays their new articles out on one quiet timeline. Read them in a clean reader with trackers blocked, save some for later, highlight what matters, and keep it all in sync through your own iCloud. No account, no ads, no analytics.

Features #
Follow anything
Paste a site's address and Eddyline finds its feed, including YouTube channels, Mastodon, Bluesky and Medium profiles and GitHub projects. Bring your subscriptions over with OPML.
Read without noise
Articles open in a clean reader with page scripts off and known trackers blocked. Show the full article when a feed sends only a teaser, in the typeface, size and theme you like.
A timeline, not an inbox
Articles flow down a timeline by morning, evening and day. Busy feeds can expire after a few hours so quieter ones aren't buried, and a story several feeds carry shows once.
Later and stars
Save articles for Later and star the ones to keep. On iPhone and iPad, swipe an article to star it, save it or mark it read.
Highlights and notes
Highlight passages and add notes, then export them as Markdown or send them to Readwise. Articles can go to Instapaper and Raindrop.io too.
Keyboard first
On the Mac, or an iPad with a keyboard: j and k move, Space reads on, and single keys star, save and mark read. A command palette jumps to any feed.
Rules
Rules hide, star or notify you about new articles that match the words, feeds and authors you choose.
Your own iCloud
No account to make. Your feeds, reading state and highlights sync across your Mac, iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud.
Spotlight and Shortcuts
Find starred, saved and highlighted articles in Spotlight, and automate with Shortcuts. On the Mac there's AppleScript and a menu bar view too.
